Short answer

Add or subtract weeks from a date

Move a date by whole weeks and get the target date, ISO week-year and Monday-to-Sunday range.

Add or subtract weeks

Result5 August 2026 + 1 × 7 → 12 August 2026 · 2026-W33 · 10 August 2026 – 16 August 2026

Inputs are calendar dates without a time. ISO classification is therefore independent of the device time zone.

Short answer

Enter a date and a positive or negative whole-week offset to calculate the exact target date.

How it works

Each week is seven calendar days. The result is then classified independently under ISO 8601, including across year boundaries.

Move the date, then recalculate the week

One whole week adds seven calendar days and preserves the weekday. Do not add directly to a week number: the week-year and possible week 53 must be recalculated from the resulting date.

28 December 2026 plus one week is 4 January 2027: 2026-W53 becomes 2027-W01. This tool does not move a result to the next working day or apply regional holidays. Shared calculator states use URL fragments rather than separate indexable result pages.

A week offset does not count working days

Working-day arithmetic needs a country, region, weekend pattern and rules for partial days, business closures and public holidays. A bridge day is a planned day off between non-working days, not automatically a public holiday. This calculator moves by seven calendar days per week without subtracting those exceptions.
